Find out which licence you need and how licensing works.

Module 1 can only be used with an active licence key.

The licence is activated via the licence manager within Plant 3D.
A distinction is made between 3 types:

  • Test licence
  • Single user licence
  • Company licence

Test licence:
A test licence can be applied for directly within the licence manager for all modules. To do this, click on the small key symbol within the licence manager to apply for a test licence. Only one test licence is possible per device.

Single user licence:

Under Single user licence you have the option of entering a licence for a specific manufacturer. If the activation was successful, the product can be used.

Company licence:

Companies with more than one licence receive a CustomerId, this Customerid can be entered in the licence manager. You can then use the "Get Customer Licences" button to display all licences in a list and activate any licence from the pool.

To check the licences, the IP and a unique machine code are transmitted to the licence server.

The licences are floating licences and can therefore be used as often as required by different machines/users, as long as this does not happen at the same time.
