Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Activate the function
Open AutoCAD Plant3D and click on the button assigned to the "Selection" function in the toolbar.

Step 2: Select a component
Click on a component of your assembly to select it. The system visually highlights the selected component.

Step 3: Confirm the selection
Click again to confirm the selection. The selected component will be detached from the assembly.

Step 4: Review the changes
Ensure that the component is no longer part of the assembly. This is visually indicated in the model.
